We can help you with complex dental situations. For example,  multiple missing teeth may require a combination of procedures or coordination between different specialists. We look at your individual situation and develop a step-by-step plan with reliable results.

Complex care

Implant technology revolutionized the ability to replace missing teeth. An implant is a titanium post that screws into the bone and supports a crown or bridge. After an implant is placed, bone grows tightly around it and the result is an incredibly strong titanium foundation that replicates a natural tooth root. Implants are only placed in areas where there is adequate bone and if not enough bone is present, bone may be added.

Braces are used to straighten teeth, it’s called orthodontics. If you or your children have teeth that are rotated, overlapping, or crowded, orthodontics may be the solution. People of all ages can wear braces and today, transparent braces and braces that fit on the back of teeth mean you don’t show them when you smile.

Orthodontics

Inside every tooth there is a nerve and the tooth’s hollow nerve space is called the root canal. When the nerve is damaged or traumatized it may cause a tooth ache or an infection. Removing the nerve and filling the space is called a endodontic therapy. Molars and premolars treated with endodontic therapy are prone to fracture but they can be strengthened with crowns.

Root canals

Complex dental care involves understanding, planning and coordination. and we care for patients who require full mouth rehabilitation for most or all of their teeth. This type of treatment requires additional time and multiple office visits before completion. Preparation and timing are critical for success.

Full mouth rehabilitation

Crown lengthening helps restore a catastrophically fractured tooth. After a severe fracture, when not enough tooth remains to support a crown, this procedure repositions the tooth’s important biologic width so that a crown may be placed without irritating the gum.

Porcelain veneers and composite veneers are used to create bright, beautiful smiles. A veneer is a thin layer of white material that is bonded to the front of your tooth. Veneers improve the position, color, and shape of teeth so that your smile looks better without using orthodontics. Not all teeth may have veneers (an exam is necessary).
